There are two days in every week about which we should never worry or fear.

One of these days is yesterday with its mistakes and faults and its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. We can not bring it back.

The other day we should not worry about is tomorrow with its burdens and disappointments.

This leaves only one day—today. Any man can fight the battles of just one day. It’s not the problems of just one day that push us over the edge. It’s when we add to today’s problems all the remorse of the past and all the dread of what tomorrow may bring that we become overwhelmed. Jesus said, ”Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof” (Matthew 6:34b).

Some of the best advice We can ever receive is to live one day at a time.
