Being separated from the world is much like a baby being separated from his mother’s womb. While an unborn is still feeding and breathing through his mother’s system, it is as though that is the only way to survive. Then birth occurs. Wow! There is suddenly a whole new way of breathing, eating and living. For the little one, “All things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Being born again is a lot like this. When we are separated from the world in Jesus Christ, everything is new and wonderful and beautiful. There is now a whole new reason for living. Is it any wonder Jesus said, “You must be born again” (John 3:7). If you haven’t yet done so, why not allow Jesus to give you this new beginning?
