God Is With You

Joshua was taking over the leadership of the people of God, and knew that Moses “left some big shoes to fill.” But, God gave him the assurance he needed to lead the people into the promised land. He told him to “be strong…do not be afraid…for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Josh. 1:9). The future is always daunting and scary. What will it hold? But, every child of God should know that if God is with us, no trouble is too great, and no obstacle is insurmountable. Jesus said, “Lo, I am with you always” (Matt. 28:20).
