Unemployment

[332 words] Unemployed is living without a job or without work to be completed. The national unemployment rate as of July 2, 2015 was 5.3% according to a study released by the U.S. Department of Labor. That 5.3% is roughly 8.3 million people in the United States currently living without a job or without work. The unemployment rate for the state of Kentucky for June 2015 was 5.1% with an estimated 102,000 people without work. The work of the Lord’s church is always abounding. We as Christians are called to be working for the Lord at all times. The concept of unemployment should be a foreign concept to those within the church. I have heard it said many times, “There should never be any unemployed Christians within the church because of all the work that there is to be done.” First Corinthians 15:58 reads, “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast,…
