[310 words] For a couple of weeks now, people have been celebrating the influence of the Beatles on the music industry. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the “British Invasion” that shook the foundation of the entertainment industry in our nation. Since the Beatles first appeared on the Ed Sullivan television program, their influence has been felt. Many modem-day musicians point to John, Paul, George, and Ringo as inspirations in their musical careers. Even today, millions of people continue to pump money into Beatle paraphernalia. It is truly an amazing feat for a musical group to continue to be relevant 50 years after debuting in our country. However, I wonder if the story will be different 2,000 years from now?
