A wife called her husband frantic because she saw a report on the news about a driver that was going the wrong way down the highway he usually used. When the husband picked up the phone, she warned, “Honey be careful, there is one crazy person driving on the wrong side of the road” He agitatedly replied, “One?! There are dozens of them!”
It is hard to be unbiased when we look at ourselves; sometimes we might be a bit too hard but more often than not we have an attitude of arrogance. We are right even if it means the world is wrong. Paul reminds us in Romans 12:3;
“For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.”
Before we jump to how everyone else is wrong it might be a good idea to check ourselves first.
