Tebow to Speak at CRC Scholarship Event

Paragould, AR — Tim Tebow will be the featured speaker at Spirit of America, a scholarship fundraiser for Crowley’s Ridge College.

The two-time national champion quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner will headline the event that will be held Thursday, April 6, at the Carter Activities Center. A reception will be held at 6 p.m., with the main event beginning at 7 p.m.

After graduating from the University of Florida, Tebow was drafted in the first round by the NFL’s Denver Broncos. He played two seasons in Denver, and then one season for the New York Jets. Following his NFL career, he played minor league baseball for several years before retiring from professional baseball.

In addition to his athletic career, Tebow is a five-time New York Times best-selling author, and speaker. He has served as a football analyst, and has worked extensively as a philanthropist, especially through his own Tim Tebow Foundation.

The Spirit of America event has been a long-standing tradition at CRC and is being brought back in 2023 to pay tribute to this country and to honor the local community. Funds from the event are used to provide scholarships for students who attend Crowley’s Ridge.
