God’s Side Of The Story

Adam and Eve already knew God’s side of the story. God had warned them that if they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they would surely die. But the devil said, “You will not surely die. “For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:4-5) A strong faith in God would have prevented much misery for Adam and Eve, and for all mankind. Sadly, we do the same thing that they did. We know God’s side of the story, but listen to the devil anyway, and the consequences are horrible. We could save ourselves a lot of misery if we would get smart, really quick, and truly listen to God!
