ONE: Because we love the Lord and His Word. We want to study the Bible and learn all we can about the One we love and serve. It is a great place to learn about God (1 John 2:3-6). The more we know the more we love Him (John 17:3).
TWO: Because we are interested in improving the spiritual quality of our lives. Bible classes open the door to a richer spiritual life. This is where we improve (2 Peter 3:18).
THREE: Because we are interested in the interaction and fellowship we gain from each other. This helps us to get to know each other. This helps us to learn (Proverbs 27:17).
FOUR: Because we are interested in the example we set. Do we want to be destroyed by a lack of knowledge like those in Hosea 4:6? The elders know that we are willing to cooperate with them and do what is best for our souls.
FIVE: Because we believe that attending Bible Class is what God wants us to do. Bible class is a good work and it helps us to be prepared (Titus 3:1). Bible Class will bring us closer to God.
