The song “You Are My All in All” has always been a favorite of mine. In part the song declares:
You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord, to give up I’d be a fool
You are my all in all
Truly Jesus should be our all in all, for He can fulfill all our needs. In speaking of Jesus, the apostle Paul stated in Col. 3:11, “where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.” Christ is all—nothing else is needed. If Christ is your all in all, then why not give Him your all—all the time!
