Hear God Speak About Faithfulness

[333 words]

The faithful are preserved by God. “O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer” (Psalms 31:23).

The faithful are blessed. “A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent” (Proverbs 28:20). Will be saved. “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 10:22).

The faithful are good stewards. “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful” (1 Corinthians 4:2).

The faithful obey, with single heart. “Servants obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers but in singleness of heart, fearing God.” (Colossians 3:22).

The faithful persevere unto death. “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life” (Revelation 2:10).

The faithful are loyal in little things. “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s who shall give you that which is your own?” (Luke 16:10-12).

The faithful are wise. “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, that he shall make him ruler over all his goods” (Matthew 24:45-47).

Are you faithful to God?
