The Humility of Jesus

Humble Birth – “And she gave birth to her first-born son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger…” (Luke. 2:7)

Humble Family – “‘Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon? Are not his sisters here with us?’ And they took offense at Him.” (Mark 6:3)

Humble Upbringing – “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?” (John 1:46)

Humble Self-Determination – “…let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as Thou wilt.” (Matt. 26:39)
