There are many warnings in the Bible about the consequences of our words. The most powerful is expressed by Jesus. He said, “But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken” (Matt. 12:16). Please don’t let your words hurt someone this week. Think about the consequences.
