He’s Coming

[272 words] In the last chapter of the last book of the Bible, we have recorded the last words of our Lord to us. Here’s something He says to all mankind: “Behold, I am coming quickly and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end” (Rev. 22:12-13). Now, here’s what we learn from this statement: 1. Jesus will eventually come back and when He comes, it will all be done quickly…i.e. the resurrection, the change of bodies, and the judgment. There will be no last minute opportunities to readjust our condition before God. 2. Jesus will judge “every man” and will do so “according to what he has done.” Therefore, it behooves us to get our lives right before God while we have opportunity. When…
