Did You Know This About Daniel?

Daniel is one of the only major figures in the Bible that left behind a completely positive record. Nothing negative is said about him. 

This could be because Daniel’s life was characterized by great faith, prayer, courage, and a refusal to compromise with a culture that was against God’s people. 

Carried way in the exile when he was 16, Daniel lived amongst an idolatrous people and still maintained his faith. When some jealous government officials hatched a plan to throw anyone into the lion’s den who prayed to someone other than the king, Daniel continued praying to God just like he always had, and ultimately God saved him from the mouths of the lions.
