“By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith” (Hebrews 11:7).
No one had ever seen such a flood as the one that would come–one that would even cover the tops of the highest mountains by twenty feet! Many would argue that men of that time hadn’t even ever seen rain. So what made Noah different? What had Noah standing out in his generation to build a humongous box that would float in water not yet there? Faith.
How about you? ls your faith enough to stand out in this generation and live for God in the face of destruction by fire that hasn’t come yet? The elements will melt in the heat. “Judgment is coming,” we cry out by our stand on the gospel. “Believe, repent, and be baptized before it’s too late.” And by our faith we too condemn the world and become the heirs of righteousness. ls this what your faith makes you do?
