It is impossible to fold a fitted sheet. It is impossible to keep all the weeds out of your yard. It is impossible to kill all the fire ants you have at your home. It is impossible to get a real person when you call AT&T. It is impossible to stop junk mail from being put in your mailbox. It is impossible to keep all the laundry done up. It is impossible to make some people happy. It is impossible to keep some people from complaining. It is impossible to reach some people with the Gospel. It is impossible to keep some people faithful. It is impossible to please some people no matter how hard you try. How do I know the things in this paragraph are true? Because even my savior couldn’t do this with some people.
Why then do we keep trying? Jesus didn’t give up on Peter! Jesus didn’t quit trying to move and change people. Jesus had compassion on silly and arrogant people. Jesus had hope for better things from people just like you and me. Don’t give up! These things are not really impossible.
