Are You Sick Enough to Be Saved?

[147 words] “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners” (Mark 2:17). Jesus did not mean there were people in the world so righteous they would not need Him. Rather, only those who realize how sick they are will actually come to Jesus. How many people die each year because they refuse to believe the pain or headaches they feel mean anything, and protesting they are just fine, they never see the doctor? And how many of those are completely separated from God because they refuse to recognize their emotional aches and spiritual pain are pointing to an even deeper ailment of sin, and protesting they are just fine, they never turn to the Great Physician?
