Ninja Warriors

[172 words]

I’m enjoying watching Ninja Warriors on TV. Both men and women of all ages compete on a very difficult obstacle course that requires strength, agility and determination. The show gets you so involved that you begin to move and squirm in your chair trying to help the contestant succeed. And the TV crowd/audience of supporters cheer for every individual, even though they have a favorite/relative competing! They all love to see each competitor succeed!

In the Lord’s Church, everyone is a warrior (Eph. 6:10-17). We cheer for every Christian Warrior. We are not competing with one another, we are striving for excellence as we serve the Lord. There are many obstacles that face us, but we overcome through faith. And we have a great cloud of witnesses, (Greek = martyrs) who cheer us on (Heb. 12:1).

Every Christian needs to be involved in this warrior exercise. And every one of us needs to cheer on our brother or sister as they face the challenges of life.
