Before You Honk

[228 words] A woman was having difficulty getting her car started after it stalled in traffic. The gentleman(?) in the car behind her insisted on expressing his impatience by blowing his horn every few seconds. Finally, worn out by his thoughtlessness, she walked back to his car and said, ”I’m having some difficulty getting my car started. If you’ll go and see if you can start it, I’ll honk your horn for you!” Some do more honking than helping in the church! There are more talkers than workers, and more criticizers than laborers. Those who do the most honking generally do the least working. They may never have preached a sermon, taught a class, led a song, or served as an elder or deacon: but they do know how it should be done.
