Another Reason for Joy

[104 words] “Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me” (Philippians 2:17-18). Today if you are called upon to sacrifice something of yourself – perhaps time, money, or energy – in the service of your own faith or the faith of others, consider that sacrifice as an opportunity for joy. And if our willingness to make such sacrifices will result in additional happiness at the coming of Christ, they will be sacrifices more than worth our time.
