The Omnipresence of God

[236 words] Even the most influential and powerful person in the world can only be in one place at one time. But that ‘is not true of God. Jehovah is an omnipresent being, i.e., His presence is in all places at all times. In Jeremiah 23:24, we read, ‘”Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?’ says the LORD; ‘Do I not fill heaven and earth?’ says the LORD.” The obvious answer to these questions is that there is nowhere we can hide from the LORD because He does indeed fill heaven and earth. King David likewise asked of God, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?” (Psa. 139:7).
