Just One Number Off

[199 words] We understand the need to be exact when it comes to our daily life. Have you ever used a credit card to buy something on line? What happens if you are just one number off? You try to make a call and you miss just one number. What happened? You misread the price on the product you plan to buy. When you checkout what happens? Yet when it comes to our salvation and pleasing God we seem to throw common sense out the window. Incomplete obedience, like an incomplete number, is useless. The call simply will not go through. Faith, confession, repentance and… It’s the “and” that leaves so many out of a relationship with Jesus. The “and” of living the kind of life we should live, and the obedience we should give. Salvation not complete, will not save us. A life of almost living a right life…
