Robert Griffin III, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, once said, “Hard work pays off. Hard work beats talent any day, but if you’re talented and work hard, it’s hard to be beat.” How true this is in all of life, but certainly in the work of the church. How many people refuse to work in evangelism because they are not “talented” in that area? If you want to fulfill the Great Commission, think “hard work” first, and “talent” second.
