Every one of us has done something in our life that we regretted deeply. We must deal with those things in the best way that we can and move on. Several years ago I saw a note in a church bulletin that challenged its readers to strive to do things that we would not regret. From that short note I began thinking about some things that we could do and we would never regret. Think about these things with me…
1. A person will never regret becoming a Christian.
2. A person will never regret saying, “I love you.”
3. A person will never regret controlling his temper.
4. A person will never regret doing good to an enemy.
5. A person will never regret being kind to a child.
6. A person will never regret being an encourager to others.
7. A person will never regret studying the bible.
8. A person will never regret speaking the truth in love.
9. A person will never regret promoting peace and unity in the church.
10. A person will never regret regular, sincere, prayer to God.
Go on and add to the list yourself. Let’s not live with regret.
