Consider what Solomon revealed about man’s life on earth. All that mankind might accomplish in this world is truly vain (useless) unless he becomes spiritually reconciled to God and lives in fellowship with Him. Solomon said, “And I applied my mind to seek and to search out by wisdom all that is done under heaven; it is an unhappy business that God has given to the sons of men to be busy with. I have seen everything that is done under the sun; and behold, all is vanity and a striving after the wind” (Ecclesiastes 1:13-14).
