A Thirst Only Christ Can Satisfy

Few things are more refreshing on a hot summer day than a cold drink of water. Yet physical thirst always returns. Jesus offers something far greater—the living water that satisfies forever. “But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:14). Only Christ can truly satisfy the deepest thirst of the soul.
