More Than Enough

[126 words]

I often ask for greater things,
For open doors and answered dreams.
Yet all along my Father gives
Far more than first my spirit sees.

A peaceful heart when fears arise.
A faithful friend with gentle eyes.
A page of Scripture, fresh and true,
A morning filled with mercy new.

The cross reminds me every day
How great His love, how high the price.
No earthly gift could ever match
The grace revealed in Christ’s sacrifice.

So let my life return that love,
In faithful work and prayer above.
Not merely words my lips proclaim,
But daily living in His name.

If all I have is Christ alone,
Then truly I am richly known.
His presence is my greatest gain—
Enough in sunshine and in rain.
