Come What May

[130 words]

“Grandfather,” a curious boy asked,
as along a path they strode,
“What lies down the ever winding
of life’s uncertain road?”

“We do not know,” said the wise old sage,
“It could be sunny or grim.”
“But I know who knows, and I know
that I will always walk with Him.”

“Who is it?” the boy asked curiously
“who ever could it be?”
“It’s the Lord,” the ever smiling man said,
“And He’s always taken care of me.”

“Wherever you go, wherever you are,
put your complete trust in God.”
“He’ll see you through – all the way through,
no matter where you’ve trod.”

“He knows the future, He’s already there.
He’s lovingly making a way.”
“If we have faith and follow His lead,
the best will come, come what may.”
