Are You the Potter or the Clay?

In view of what God’s word states, this seems to be a silly question. Would we say, “Why did you make me like this?” (Rom. 9:20). Would we deny this principle? “Or does not the potter (God) have a right over the clay (us) to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for common use?” (Rom. 9:21). Of course we understand the principle of the potter and the clay. But we often resist the potter (God) who wants to mold us a certain way, and we don’t want to go there. We must submit to our loving Creator, who knows what we need to be, where we need to go, and how we ought to serve. So, are you the Potter or the clay? Soften your heart before God and submit to His will. Rick Laing Austin, TX…
