We know we need some good news. In fact, we need as much good news as we can get!
With 2020 behind us, we are desperate now to be told that something good, something better and brighter is on the way. Well…it is!
“But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day. The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble” (Prov. 4:18-19).
The longer you walk alone, the darker and scarier it gets. However, the more you walk the path with the Lord, the better and brighter it gets!
This does not mean we will never be exposed to a virus (or other illness) just by being obedient.
Neither does it mean we will never experience depression, grief, loss, or fracture.
It does mean that we will be more virtuous. We will be more content. We will be more joyful.
We will be filled with hope, knowing that Heaven will be our home.
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us” (Romans 8:18).
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
Aren’t you glad and thankful that the Lord knows the future and that in His presence, the best is yet to come? I know I am!
Are you ready?
