The Time Jesus Got Sick?

[224 words] There is no record of Jesus getting sick on earth. Perhaps He had child- hood colds, the occasional stomach ache, or the flu. We don’t know; the Bible doesn’t say. The only time Scripture records Jesus being sick is after He returned to heaven. It is found in Revelation 3. Revelation 3:16 pictures a church trying to straddle the fence be- tween the world and the kingdom of God. They were like the little boy who prayed one night before he went to bed, “Dear God, make me good but not too good, just good enough so I don’t get in trouble.” The condition of the Laodiceans was nauseating to Christ.
